Little Wren Flowers
Once upon a time, a 2013 version of Kamisha Refalo offered Newcastle and surrounds a fresh, sustainable, bespoke approach to floristry. Taking the wedding scene by storm, Kamisha imbedded the concept of celebrating natural beauty in the fabric of design and decoration. Now, closely affiliated with Crab Apple Vintage, the torch has been passed to eco-friendly florist, Lucy Shepherd.
At present, Little Wren Flowers is well known for our dreamy boho vibe and custom creations. We thrive combining foraged, home grown, farmed, market bought and flowers from a small garden we tend to at the studio. Our bouquets, boutonnieres, floral crowns, wreaths, and freeform arrangements often feature warm and inviting tones, complimented with various textures - making them interesting as well as beautiful.
As a brand, Little Wren Flowers has maintained a deep love and appreciation for the natural, unaffected beauty of Australian wildflowers. We are proud to be substantial, making eco-conscious decisions whilst sourcing and creating our floral designs.
Personally, my favourite aspect of being a florist, apart from giving flowers a new life, is diving into the minds of my couples and creating arrangements they genuinely love. Regardless of the brief, the season or the style, seeing the joy in my couple’s faces when I deliver their flowers is such a rewarding experience. I also love the collaborative process of wedding and event floristry. I am constantly inspired by the warmth, creativity, and friendship of the broader Newcastle community.
